Currently under construction for a client, this project encompasses both renovation and new ground-up work. The check processing facility with loading dock will feature a 140,000 SF Tier 4 data center, and 40,000 SF of offices and support space including cafeteria, security / access control, and restrooms. Temperature control will be provided by state-of-the-art HVAC systems.

Starting with raw space, JRS designed this new facility to house the client’s check processing and back office operations. Completely state-of-the-art, the building is equipped with three emergency generators and UPS back-up system, a lobby-centered security console, and a full service cafeteria with audio-visual capabilities.

Working with NFFCU’s management team to determine objectives and availability needs as well as to assess existing systems, JRS interfaced with IT and facility staff members to develop a headquarters based computer room to support their 10 branch network. Specialized back-up systems were an integral part of overall design, construction budgets and scheduling.

Located within the bank’s home office complex, JRS designed this client’s data center and computer facility to link two other corporate offices as well as to be fully integrated with existing disaster recovery sites.

Environmental engineers who provide a broad range of compliance and site remediation solutions, Roux Associates needed a main office computer room up to the task of managing satellite locations and supporting the activities of 200+ professional consultants. The project called for considerable supplemental air-conditioning as well as a separate electrical feeder.

A critical unit within the client’s new corporate headquarters, we planned the data center to support a banking network of over 100 branches and provided for complete redundancy to insure uninterrupted service even in the event of a total power failure. Access control and security were key concerns during all phases of design development.
