A marriage of modern living with period design, our restoration of this circa 1860 brick farm house incorporates a new historically compatible addition four times the size of the original structure to fit today’s lifestyle. An enclosed “connector” unites both buildings, and windows and exterior columns are matched to achieve proportionality. Doors, windows, hardware, as well as a cooking fireplace have been faithfully restored, and while state-of-the-art construction was used throughout, brick, planking, and other materials from the old house were readapted where possible as additional unifying elements.
