By day, the four-story minimalist building done in stark white, stainless steel and glass draws admiration from the street. At night this branch transforms into a lively Times-Square-style billboard with its unlimited color pallet changing as new messages flash across a computer-controlled LED sign. Located across from famed retailer Bloomingdale’s and on a key approach to the 59th Street Bridge, the site was selected for its high volume of consumer and business traffic and represents a powerful advertising position for the bank’s brand. Designed by JRS from the ground-up, our team chose a sleek, European inspired transparency to showcase North Fork’s unique vertical banking concept.
