JRS designed a total makeover for this over 40 year old and mostly vacant office building. A new exterior of red granite, glass, and synthetic stucco puts the structure in context with many of the red-brick buildings in the area. Conservation awareness called for installation of a high-efficiency HVAC system, insulated windows and Energy Star lighting. Excavation of the central courtyard provides windows for below grade offices, while a steel and glass canopy over the main entrance and new landscaping round out the transformation. The facility serves as headquarters for its developer owner and offices for other professional businesses.
