COMMERCIAL LOBBIES |

 |
|
 The
TreeLine Companies - Garden City,
NY |
|
The Treeline Companies recently
acquired three adjacent office buildings in LI and chose
JRS to update the interior lobbies. Our approach was to
develop a design that would appeal to a variety of
prospective tenants and create signature lobbies for the
building complex. Essential to the project was the use
of durable materials that would perform well in a public
space. Decorative plastic laminate is used on the walls
to replicate custom wood panels. Likewise, large
porcelain tiles resemble a traditional black and beige
marble floor. The use of these materials achieves a
prestigious lobby space without the maintenance
associated with their natural counterparts. The finished
space provides a transitional look featuring a glass
divider etched with an original contemporary design.
Interactive concierge displays were installed to guide
visitors throughout the buildings, alleviating the cost
of an occupied station. The outcome are clean inviting
building entrances that give the tenants and visitors a
dramatic and elegant feeling when
entering. |

 JRS
Architect, P.C. - Mineola,
NY |
|
The JRS Architect building is a
focal point of an expanding commercial area of Mineola.
A two-story glass curtain wall anchors the building to
the site illuminating the atrium at night and reflecting
the diversity of the streetscape during the day. Stone
and plastic composite panels give the stilted second
floor a modern architectural look, which is complimented
by cantilevers and curves at the first floor parking
level. The atrium is a study of intersecting planes,
washed in light from the curtain wall and skylight,
making the lobby bright and inviting. Of interest to all
visitors is the commissioned artwork featuring original
sepias of the building itself. JRS is pleased to present
the building and interior design to clients as an
example of a well functioning and attractive office
environment. |

 JPMorgan
Chase - Carlstadt, NJ |
|
JP Morgan Chase expanded and
relocated their Check Processing operation into a new
state of the art facility. JRS worked with the building
developer to create a facility that was fresh, inviting
and well organized in its layout. The entry point for
the new building immediately invokes a sense of high
tech efficiency. The main entry and loading dock share a
state of the art central security and monitoring
station. Soaring skylights and two-story glazing flood
the space with natural light defying the concept of a
processing and office facility. The second floor balcony
is suspended in a gentle curve sharing exposure to the
natural light and atrium. The lobby presents as an
energetic and dynamic entrance for visitors and
employees alike. |
