Gloria began her career at JRS in 2001 and has developed a reputation among colleagues and clients for her ability to quickly tailor design solutions for projects of any magnitude. Her contributions range from design development, construction drawings, and materials specification to compliance research, field surveys, shop drawing reviews and preparation of punch lists and close-out documents. Gloria’s mastery of the total project process plays out in major assignments for clients such as JPMorgan Chase and Bethpage Federal Credit Union.

Brian Eichhorn enjoys applying technology solutions to the design process. As a graduate with a degree in Architectural Technology and with his earlier work in the computer hardware and software industries, Brian’s responsibilities range from Architectural drawing production and Photoshop applications to the creation of presentation media including lifelike renderings and 3-D modeling. Brian who has been tapped to help integrate BIM into the JRS environment, is one of our specialists in this area. Brian is also involved with ACE Mentoring Program. He has been as ACE Mentor for two years.

John Collins, known to all as “JC”, keeps the “engine” of JRS running 24/7. Signing on as a draftsperson in 1989, JC was proactive in introducing computers and AutoCAD to JRS during the formative days of IT. With his passion for technology ignited JC was asked to direct the firm’s growth in this area, a role he continues to fulfill and evolve. Client centered in his approach, JC works with management and staff in identifying and bringing new technologies to the project delivery system. During rare moments of spare time, JC composes and records original music for his own label, Orbital Sounds.

John Byrnes is an expert in navigating the detailed, complex and often arcane building codes of the various municipalities in our market area. With a resume that includes his role as Principal Building Inspector for the Town of Smithtown, NY, John has first hand knowledge in handling everything from obtaining all necessary sign-offs for certificates of occupancy to filing construction inspections upon project completion. John’s early involvement in the design process allows the team to diffuse problems before they occur while insuring the integrity of the schedule.

Ms. McGuinness has been with JRS as the Director of Interior Design since 1999. Karen’s stylish interiors has encompassed Fortune 500 clients, trading floors, auditoriums, medical office and hospital suites, fitness facilities, cafes, corporate training centers, showrooms and retail locations. Karen’s hands-on approach with clients includes traveling to manufacturers to review the latest materials and personally managing complex installations at construction sites. Under Karen’s direction JRS maintains one of the most comprehensive sample libraries in the industry, offering clients access to the widest spectrum of furnishings and finishes, as well as LEED inspired sustainable choices.
